We would like to thank Brian and Scott as we moved to Alberta for work and school from the East Coast and when we arrived everything was as promised! We cannot say enough about the Oak Point Management as any issue that occurred you hear from someone with in the day! Greyson Heights was the perfect location for us and the other tenants that we met were great! If we come back to Edmonton, we will defiantly want to move in to an Oak Point Property. We hope that our new landlord in Southern Alberta will be the same!
We would like to thank Scott and his team at McQueen Gardens as they are the best. Our Mom has been living at McQueen Gardens for the last 11 years and we all had a tuff decision, but mom need to move somewhere that can offer her some assistance and offer her a meal plan. Mom is going to miss the staff and all her friends. We can’t say enough of how mom was treated at McQueen Gardens. It is a well-kept building and there is a real community within the building! Thank you again for all that you do for your tenants at McQueen Gardens!
I wholeheartedly love Peyton Place because it put me at ease once i moved in as it was close to my school, all while, in the comfort of my great suite. Kayla and Scott are phenomenal. Knowing that if anything was needed to be looked at someone had gone back to me with in the day. I will miss this buidling as it was my home for the last 4 years and I am hoping my next landlord is this good in southern Alberta!
I lived at Aspen Ridge for 2 years while I was attending NAIT and for a year afterwards. I had an excellent experience with the rental property and an even better experience with the Oakpoint management team. Both the property manager Brian and Oakpoint’s president Scott were very responsive and the few issues I had were resolved ASAP. Renting from Oakpoint felt like I was renting from someone who lived in the property, cared for the building, and knew and cared for all it’s tenants. 5 Stars!

It is with sad news that I must tell you that my wife and I will be leaving Greyson Heights this Spring, as we have to move back to the Saskatchewan. We have absolutely loved our last four years renting through you guys, and we couldn't have asked for a better management company. “I stayed at the Alexandrine for almost 4 and a half years and had a great time as a tenant here. The Oakpoint team was friendly and extremely responsive to any concerns and were also very flexible with extending my lease and other formalities. This was by far my most comfortable renting experience as yet (across 3 different countries!) and I highly recommend Oakpoint properties for anyone, especially international workers like me for whom the Canadian rental market can be difficult to navigate. When it came time for me to move out and leave Canada, the Oakpoint team was great too and the procedure took only a few minutes and was painless and stress-free.”
I have found McQueen Apartments to be a nice comfortable place to take up residence ". This is a quiet building that is well maintained and residence concerns are heard and responded to by management w/out delay. This central location is great even for those who travel by bus. I lived at the Alexandrine for 2 decades (!). I loved the central location- steps away from Whyte Avenue & the river valley. Easy to get downtown and other parts of the city by bus or car. My rent was relatively stable during my time at the property, I hadn't had a rent increase the last three years I lived there. Scott and team were always quick to respond and fix anything that came up. After major snowfalls the lot was always cleared out and in the spring the lot was swept and new lines painted. There were always improvements made- new intercom system and some aesthetic embellishments made the hallways much nicer are two things that come to mind. Cons to point out would be residual noise from Whyte Ave late at night on weekends and my south facing apartment got very hot in the summer. My reason for leaving is that I was able to buy my own home, otherwise I would have continued to live there and I recommend Oak Point properties.
Hands-down best management at any place we've rented. Scott, Brian and the whole Oakpoint team were very friendly, professional, and always punctual. Any issues we ran into and any questions we had were solved and answered immediately. We lived at the Alexandrine for 4.5 years and loved it. It truly felt like home. Our unit was quiet and cozy. We never had any problems with neighbors, and the location is the best.
If your looking for a comfortable and safe enviroment then apply at Mcqueen Gardens. Scott is always doing upgrades to his properties and is a hands on owner. All of his buildings are clean, safe and EPS secure. At Mcqueen you have a banquet room, exercise room and a coffee room c/w pool table, shuffle board, computer and big screen tv. Give it a go I was there for 7 years.

My expectations as a tenant in the Alexandrine were far beyond exceeded. The Oakpoint team was on top of everything and put a lot of time and effort into cleaning and maintaining the property. The building felt very safe because it was so well taken care of. The location in Old Strathcona is perfect. It was a short walk to the UofA, across from a park, and only a couple blocks from the river valley. I really enjoyed my years here during grad school and I would highly recommend this property.

Scott, you and your team made living in Edmonton a easy transition for us as we had come from China. Aspen Ridge was perfect for us as the LRT is a 30 second walk from the buidling and I could get to work with in 20 minutes and my wife was at the U of A with in 15 minutes. Thank you again for dealing with any of our needs when it came to maintenance or just answering questions about the city! We will miss our suite as it was our home since 2016. Aspen Ridge is a wonderful hidden gem! The building is clean, well maintained and located near various amenities. The management is attentive and responds quickly to any issue, big or small. My unit was the perfect size with a huge walk-in pantry and multiple large closets. I would highly recommend Aspen Ridge for anyone looking for affordable housing in a central location.
Aspen Ridge was my very first apartment. Scott and his team Flo and Matt were wonderful, if there were any issues or anything that needed to be fixed or addressed they were on top of things, the property is well kept and clean which I very much appreciated. The location was fantastic, close to the LRT, and the walkability to shops and parks was great. I had lived there for 5 years and had the opportunity to purchase a place of my own, otherwise I really would not have left. I cannot thank the team enough for making my time there feel like home. I had lived at Aspen Ridge the last 2 years to finish up my Master’s program at the U of A and I loved my suite and the building. It was a quick 15 minutes door to door by trian from the building to the campus. Scott and Flo where great to deal with, if I had any issue they responded to me that day with a game plan. If I was to ever move back to Edmonton I would defiantly call Scott first!
We lived at the Alexandrine for 5 years and will miss our cozy corner home - if we were to live in Edmonton again we'd come back in a heartbeat. The Alexandrine is a central spot in Old Strathcona and is perfect for walking to the university and exploring the community. Scott and the Oak Point team are quick to respond to any issues and are always on top of maintenance and cleaning of the property. Even in a crazy year, Scott has always gone above and beyond for his tenants (even installing hand sanitizer stations at each entrance!). Definitely recommend renting from the Oak Point Team! I rented at Greyson Heights for two years while attending NAIT. This building is located in a quiet neighborhood. The building is very secure and safe. It is also very quite, great for studding. They keep the building very clean and updated. Additionally the management is very responsive and attended to concerns right away, even after hours. Every one was very kind and helpful during my stay. I highly recommend renting from Oak Point Developments.
I also wish you all the best during this crazy time. Although I can't say this in person, I appreciated having you as a landlord, thank you for everything for the time I spent at Aspen Ridge the last year!
The Alexandrine is a wonderful and quiet building in a perfect location just off Whyte Ave. Everyone on the Oak Point team was great to work with. The few small issues that came up during my year at the property fixed incredibly fast. This is by far the most well-managed building I have ever lived in, it was unfortunate to have to leave due to relocating to Calgary. I would recommend this building or Oak Point to anyone looking for a great rental experience.
Peyton Place was a fantastic place to live. The landlord, building management, and other tenants were a joy to be around. The building was kept very clean on the inside of the building as well as maintained on the outside. Repairs were taken care of immediately if needed, and handled professionally. The parking lot was monitored and cleaned thoroughly throughout the winter when there was snowfall. I felt safe and comfortable in my environment as a young tenant, and I would recommend this building to any of my friends or family.

I just wanted to let you know Scott that living at your building was a pure joy! I have been renting for over 12 years and I have never seen a owner take such pride in making sure all their tenants are happy and making sure we all feel safe. Once I am done with Master's Program in Victoria I will be moving back to Edmonton and I will be living at one of your proprieties when I do come back that is for sure. I would love to get my suite back at Aspen Ridge but I know that might not happen! " Hahah All the Best.
We just wanted to thank Scott and his team as we lived at 2 of Oak Point Properties over the last 5 years while going to the U of A and Mac Ewan. We loved our time at English Manor for the three years and then our last couple of years at Peyton Place was perfect for both of us as we wanted to be a little closer to work and both University's. Any concerns or issue where dealt with with in a day or two and everyone was so friendly and caring! Thank you Scott for allowing us to move to Peyton Place and if we every come back to Edmonton we will definitely be calling you first!!
If you are looking for GREAT Customer Service and feel that your not just a number then do yourself a favor and move into one of Scott's properties!! I have been with Oak Point for almost 2 and 1/2 years and he and his team look after us with great care! I am not planing on moving out anytime soon!
I had been leasing a unit (Aspen Ridge) for 15 years from Oak Point Development. The building is walking distance to transit system/ LRT (it’s a prime location for students). I know Scott for 12 years, he and his staff are amazing and there to help you. The building was always safe and quite.
I lived at English Manor for over 2 years and loved my suite and the staff with Oak Point. If you had any issue Scott and his team where there to fix it right away. The site manager Jen always got back to you right away if you had any questions. The building was quiet and the other tenants where very nice and respectful. If I every move back to Edmonton I would definitely live at one of Scott's properties!
I came to Edmonton to go to the U of A for the year from Calgary and I loved everything about my suite and the building at English Manor. Don’t let the neighborhood fool you as the building was very quite and the other tenants in the building are very nice. I will be back in the Spring as I have to leave for work for the next 8 months and I hope Scott and his team will have a suite for me when I return! Thanks for everything Scott!
Perfect location, The Alexandrine is a great building, super cute suite. The building is quiet, and there's very little noise that travels off of Whyte Ave. Anything you could possibly need is a quick walk away, the location is again, perfect.
This was my very first apartment and I honestly can’t thank Scott and his team enough for making my time there the most peaceful and enjoyable. Whenever I had any questions or concerns a quick email to Scott or Kayla, the building manager, always remedied the situation. Living in downtown, where it can feel a bit congested or overwhelming at times, Scott and the team always took the necessary steps to make sure their tenants felt safe and comfortable in their suites. Although my time at Peyton Place was short to due to employment found outside of the country, I know that if I ever decide to move back to Edmonton, Scott and Oak Point Developments would be one of the first I would contact. I already miss my suite at Peyton Place and would recommend 100% to anyone looking to rent or live in downtown Edmonton.
For anyone that is looking for staff that cares about their tenants then look no further then with Scott and his team at Oak Point Developments. My mom lived at McQueen Gardens for the last three years and what ever the issue was Brian the site manager or Scott himself would be there to fix what ever the issue was. My mom needed to move to an Asst. living property or she would still be there as she has mentioned she misses her friends at the building! I personal want to say thank you to Scott and Brian for making my moms stay at McQueen a great experience for her and our family!
There is not enough that I can say about Scott and his team! I had lived at Greyson Heights for over 6 years and Tamrra and Marksmen the two site managers where always there to answer my questions and if there was a something wrong weather it was in my suite or on the grounds Scott or his crew where there the next day to fix it! I am sorry that I have finished my schooling and it was time for me to move back to BC but I will miss my old home for sure and you can not go wrong living in one of Scott's properties!
I have been a tenant at Aspen Ridge for just over 2 years and I have been very happy with Oak Point. Scott and Flow always answered any of my questions or deal with my concerns with in hours of me emailing them. The LRT makes it very easy for me to get to class at the U of A from my door step! I lived in the Alexandrine for 3 years in a 1 bedroom apartment. I had a great time living in this building, it was maintained constantly, kept very clean and was quiet and peaceful at all times. Any time I had an issue it was responded to almost immediately and dealt with very quickly. I only left to be closer to family, otherwise I think I would have stayed on as long as possible. I always felt very safe and comfortable here. Thanks for everything! I truly enjoyed living in this building.
We lived at The Alexandrine for 3 years and had a fantastic experience. Everyone at Oak Point was easy to get a hold of and very helpful whenever we had questions or needed anything fixed. Andrea and Scott made our 3 years at The Alexandrine wonderful. We cannot say enough amazing things about the location of this building! I was able to walk everywhere I needed to go.
Living in The Alexandrine was a great experience. As students, the location was excellent (walking distance to the UofA or a 10 minute bus ride). The suite was clean, well-maintained, and very safe. Scott was very professional and on top of things. Any problems within the suite were addressed immediately. A great experience, and we were sorry to leave!
Peyton Place is a great location for anyone not wanting to drive. Shopping and restruants are with in minutes if you like to walk. Oak Point Staff was great to work with. Loved my time at Peyton Place as I was there for 18 months.

I lived at one of Oak Point property for 18 months and all I can say is AAA! The management was on top of everything from cleaning the property to making sue the parking lots where clear of snow. I only lived at Peyton Place a short time, but I loved it. The building is in a fantastic location. Its very easy to get to the U of A and other areas of the city. The suite was beautifully renovated and many of my friends complimented on how nice it was. Whenever I had a question or a concern it was always dealt with by the management quickly and professionally. If I moved back to Edmonton I would definitely rent with Oak Point Developments again and I would not hesitate to recommend them to a friend.
Our time even tho was for only 6 months we enjoyed our suit at English Manor. The building is quite and clean and we would recomend the building to anyone. The staff at Oak Point where great and Scott helped us out with the move to Edmonton.

For my husband and I English Manor was our first home and we loved it! The apartment was beautiful and spacious, the management was very friendly and professional and the landlord couldn't have been better. We were very happy there, you won't be disappointed if you choose a home with Oakpoint.
