How can an appointment be arranged to view an apartment?

Please contact us by email or by calling the site manager at that location. Contact information is available on individual buildings on this website.

What kind of maintenance is offered?

Our site managers are available 24 hours per day for emergency services. For non-emergency maintenance call your site manager to arrange for the issue to be fixed with in 48hrs of receiving the complaint.

How much security deposit is required to hold an apartment?

A deposit equivalent to your first month's rent is required to hold an apartment. Payment can be made by money order, certified cheque or an email transfer.

Is there availability for parking?

Parking is offered at all our properties, however, some locations there is an additional charge for each parking space. The rate for parking depends on the location of the individual property.

Does Oak Point Developments enforce policies with respect to noise?

OPD has a ‘no tolerance’ policy regarding noise. If it becomes a recurring problem, OPD will proceed with an immediate eviction.

If the rent is late for any reason, what is the penalty?

OPD will not tolerate late payment of rent for any reason. Rent is collected by Pre Authorized Payment (PAD), which is withdrawn on the 1st day of the month. If a tenant fails to abide by these rules, OPD will proceed with an immediate eviction. If payment is returned for any reason, the tenant will be charged a penalty of $50.00 for NSF and $100 for a late payment.

If a tenant needs to break their lease for any reason, what is Oak Point penalty for doing so?

We are willing to work with any tenant if this problem arises. If for some reason you need to break your lease before the agreed ending date of the lease we can discuss what options will work out best in person at that time. We do have a fee of $400 plus conditions to that option to breaking the lease.

How much notice are tenants required to give Oak Point when they decide not to renew their lease?

It is required that the tenant gives a minimum of 30 days written notice. If a tenant fails to do so, they could be charged an additional two-month's rent for compensation.

Are tenants allowed to have pets?

Please contact the individual site managers directly since each property has a separate policy regarding pets. Large pets of over 100lbs are the max weight for our dog friendly properties.
